Look at this thing! It appears to be an unassuming compact D, but it sports a snagless nose (but snagful gate) and a relief cut in the spine for an impressive 24 mm of gate opening!
For contrast the Ang S achieves a similar 23mm opening using an undersized solid gate, and the larger Spirit v2 opens only 21mm. Also, don't miss the 1983 patent.
