| Description & Commentary: | This is a fairly standard compact asym. D straight gate carabiner from the uncommon (in the US) LucKY brand. This distinctive carabiner body (see the long nose) was sold under the Troll, Lucky/Vaude, Metolius, and Vector names. I am unsure if Vaude produced these themselves or was produced by another company. Vaude acquired Edelrid in 2006, and the existing Lucky by Vaude product line was taken over by Edelrid in 2008. Other notes: The indent in the front of the gate provides additional gate clearance. |
