| Description & Commentary: | Modeled on Mammut's classic Bionic carabiner, this accessory carabiner uses a the webbed I-beam construction and keylock nose - which would make it very nice accessory carabiner except that the pre-formed end of the hinge rivet (the head) sits proud of the gate, which causes it to snag on threads and loose weave fabric. Mammut has produced a few different accessory carabiners modeled on their full sized / full strength climbing carabiners, including the Element Mini Biner. |
