| Description & Commentary: | A simple clawlock carabiner with no signs of rivets - these could be hidden by corrosion or the gate is attached by some other method. This example is unmarked, but I acquired these as part of a group of vintage carabiners including a 123 KB10-S locking carabiners which is very similar to this model. I am unfamiliar with the 123 brand of carabiners, but it appears they have been producing carabiners since 1967. If anyone has vintage catalogs, please contact me. |
